Multiple immediate openings for Program/Project Managers. Ten years relevant experience with PE license and/or PMP preferred. Experience working in the Department of Energy complex desired. Positions require people with exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skill and experience.
Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering project(s) from the conceptual design stage through planning, estimating, design/engineering, procurement, construction, fabrication, start-up, and close-out.
- Provide leadership in developing, tracking and managing projects including customer and stakeholder interface, schedules, deliverables and requirements, quality, budgets and milestones, coordinating the participation of responsible entities and resolving issues through managerial and contractual channels.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge of construction, design engineering and procurement, equipment fabrication and other project-related activities, including their interfaces and interdependencies. Experience with nuclear facilities and safety requirements preferred.
- Knowledge and experience with Department of Energy design process a plus.

Broad knowledge of industry standards and engineering practices.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills to include oversight and coordination of small (1-2 engineers/drafters) to large engineering teams (40+).

Proven capability to manage several projects and tasks simultaneously involving multiple engineering disciplines.

Demonstrated ability to manage difficult and complex projects and to take collective action, monitor work, manage conflict, and coordinate the activities of others. PMP certification preferred.

Ability to work with clients to understand constraints and identify additional opportunities to support their efforts.

Engineering degree with 10+ years of technical experience with Professional Engineering license preferred.

Professional experience working with federal clients and government contracts.
